Many production processes are only possible with high-power laser welding and cutting tools. Thanks to their ability to operate in multiple axes, generate clean cut edges, and robustly weld seams , high-power lasers have established themselves mainly in sheet metal processing and the automotive industry.
Rofin Macro offers a range of solutions using the following laser types: CO2, Solid State, Diode, Disc and fibre.
Rofin Macro offers a range of special systems for integration: Remote Welding System; Profile Welding System; Scanner Welding System.
In the Micro range, the ROFIN Group develops systems for materials processing of small parts, down to the µm range. Whether cutting, welding, drilling or ablation – laser processing is carried out with the utmost precision and a minimal heat-affected zone. Almost all materials can be handled: plastics, ceramics, glass, precious metals, alloys….
The Micro region of the website has a range of pages dedicated to specialist applications: Medical Devices, Jewellery, Tool & Mould Repair, Packaging Perforation & Easy-open, Plastic Welding, Solar Technology and Semiconductors
The ROFIN Laser Marking Group, has more than 7,000 systems in use worldwide and is the market leader in the area of laser marking. The precise, contact-free, permanent marking of almost all materials with lasers has found a place in vast areas of industrial manufacturing.
Laser Marking Trade names include Power Line Series, EasyMark, StarMark Series and Multiscan. We build a range of Standard and Customized Systems to provide eyesafe marking of parts using Nd:YAG (lamp- and diode-pumped), Vanadate, CO2 and fibre laser sources.
